Obsessing over men's singles figure skating, and last night was the freeskate final of the European Championships where 3 absolute badasses got to the podium and made me nearly cry in joy.

YOUR EUROPEAN OVERLORDS: FLORENT AMODIO [the little guy crouching], BRIAN JOUBERT[guy in the black and red costume] AND TOMAS VERNER [Guy in black and blue].

I was supporting Joubert and Verner from the beginning as they're among my favourites [Brian in particular] and I knew Amodio was going to medal, so this podium delighted me. Congrats to France on the double-podium victory!

* Survived my country falling to shit and needing help from Europe. U mad, Germany?

*WINTER OLYMPICS

* Got Clar, my derpy new cat.

* Lost a stone and a half.

*Suffered a lot of panic attacks and related problems.

*Became interested in postcolonialism.

*Figure skating.

*SAW A ROBOT T-REX FUCK YEAH HOLY SHIT

*I actually appreciated Yu-gi-oh GX.

* Finally read 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'

*Used SAI

* Made a lot of films with my bro Lauren that completely beat the crap out of Mr. Originality's ones.

* Made a Pixiv account.

* Finally read 'Watchmen'!

* FOLLOWED POKEMON BLACK AND WHITE NEWS LIKE A FUCKING HAWK.

* Dubbed Hetalia; I think I was the only person happy about it.

* Made my little isles characters!

* Sat around in Lauren's house, meeting her new dog. Also getting trolled with Sex Bomb.

* Discovered Die Atzen. This was very, very important.

* Got glasses. I should probably wear those more, actually.

* Met some genuinely lovely new people, IRL and online. I'm very glad to have met you all! You're all so nice to me and stuff here!

*Tonnes of other more important things I can't think of right now.
